Independent investigations

Disciplinary processes and/or complaints on occasion need an investigation to be undertaken by an independent person. The need for this may be as a result of conflicts of interest within your board, complexity of the issues or simply that board members do not have the time or inclination to undertake the process themselves.

It is critical that those who undertake investigations understand the necessity to provide context, correlate evidence and to be able to analyse information in such a way that your board is able to follow the process and how the conclusions are reached.
